2011年在很多意义上都是新的一年。对我来说，在2011年第一个星期，我如此彻底地与政治分手，连最后一点儿留恋都释然了。这是围绕着《二零一零（小小说）》的喧嚣给我的帮助。洪洞县只有两种产业，第一是养猪，第二还是养猪。猪头的变更已经毫无意义。考虑成本，特别是福音的目的，维持现状没有什么不好。第二方面的自由则是对“忧心忡忡”那种信仰状况的告别——我所献身的事业根本不是我的事业，是神的事业。祂比我神。我做自己应当作的，就是尽了本分了。在这新的一年里，我们没有什么新的法宝走在平安的路上。我们一如既往并加倍地靠着神的道去面对每一天。因为神的话，只有神的话，是我们脚前的灯和路上的光。愿“2011年每日读经指南”与您同在，带领我们每天过得胜的生活。（任不寐2011年1月6日）
